In general, you can visit the C Care website without telling us who you are or revealing anything about yourself.
Our service provider automatically recognises and records each visitor’s domain name server address, date and time of visit to the C Care website and pages viewed. Our service provider only discloses aggregate information to us about the number and types of visitors and does not collect personally identifiable information (such as email address, name and address).
This is anonymous statistical data and no attempt will be made by C Care to identify users on their web browsing activities. We use this data to only evaluate our website performance and improve the content of the website.
C Care does not collect sensitive information, such as political or religious beliefs, about supporters or online visitors.
When you choose to donate money to us through the C Care website you are transferred to the Eway Pty Ltd (‘Eway’) website (www.eway.com.au) or PayPal PayPal Holdings, Inc (www.paypal.com.au) to process your donation.
This information will include your name, e-mail address, business name and Australian Business Number if a business, telephone number, mailing address, shipping address, the date and amount of the transaction.
However your credit card or bank account number will not be shown to C Care.
C Care is committed to taking reasonable steps to protect the personally identifiable information that is provided to us. We do not sell, swap or give any data to any external company or organisation.
C Care, however, may release information about you where we are required by law to disclose the information. Unfortunately no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100 per cent secure. As a result, while we strive to protect personal information.
C Care cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we employ our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems which cannot be accessed by outside agencies or non-C Care staff.
Should an error be made in the amount of any donation, the donor has 60 days in which to notify C Care Inc of the error.
All requests for refunds must be made in writing and directed by email to email@example.com or by post to The General Manager, C Care Inc , 147 Graham
St Port Melbourne 3207,Victoria Australia.
The request should have the details of the initial donation including the date, amount, name of the donor, the tax invoice number and the nature of the error.
Any tax invoice issued for the incorrect amount immediately becomes void and invalid, and a new tax invoice will be issued for the amount of the corrected donation.
Of course, should an error be made by C Care Inc or its financial institution(s), full refunds will be made immediately upon notification of the error and all cost borne by C Care Inc.
Please note: refunds of the amount pledged to be donated will not automatically be made simply because you have changed your mind. It is for this reason that we ask that you make your choice to donate carefully.
C Care Inc is under no obligation to give a refund if an error has been made on your part, but will endeavour to ensure that any genuine errors (such as to the amount donated) are rectified.
C Care Inc , which is a non profit organisation, reserves the right to deduct any bank or transaction charges for any refund processed onto the donor. Should an error be detected and a request for refund be made after 60 days have expired.
